More than 585,000 U.S. service members were diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury between 2000 and 2021. First responders carry the same risk here at home: crashes, blasts, falls, and repeated head trauma on the job.
TBI is called the invisible injury because it never shows up in a photo. It shows up in daily life. Sleepless nights. Memory gaps. Constant headaches. A short fuse with the kids. Too many warriors are handed a stack of prescriptions and told to manage it. But TBI is a physical injury to the brain, and for many, medication alone is not enough. A physical injury needs physical treatment.
That is where Texas Valor Project comes in.
The Treatment We Fund
Texas Valor Project is not a clinic. We are the bridge that gets warriors to one of the best.
We fund treatment at Resiliency Brain Health in Coppell, Texas, a functional neurology clinic that specializes in traumatic brain injury. Their two-week intensive program treats the injury itself, not just the symptoms. Over two weeks of daily one-on-one care, treatment can include rTMS magnetic brain stimulation, vestibular and balance therapy, neurofeedback and cognitive training, eye movement therapy, functional movement therapy, and nutrition counseling. Every plan is built from the warrior's own neurological evaluation.
All medical care is provided by the licensed clinical team at Resiliency Brain Health. Texas Valor Project funds the treatment and everything a warrior needs to be there for it.
Why We Ask for So Much
Restoring one warrior costs roughly $12,000: round-trip airfare, two weeks of lodging, groceries, a rental car, and the full treatment program. No vague overhead. No mystery. Every dollar has a seat on that plane.
$500 puts a warrior on the plane. $1,200 feeds and drives them for the full two weeks. $2,500 houses them for the entire program. $12,000 sponsors a warrior's complete journey, start to finish.

Questions Donors Ask
Do you only help Texans? No. Warriors come to us from all over the United States. Texas is where the treatment happens, not a requirement to receive it.
Is Texas Valor Project a medical provider? No. All care is provided by the licensed clinical team at Resiliency Brain Health. We fund the treatment and the full journey to get there.
Who qualifies? Veterans and first responders living with the effects of traumatic brain injury.
